I just thought that was so bizarre and wanted to see others experiences with this? They said if someone adds an item to their cart of the registry it will automatically mark it as purchased on registry and even send you a “someone purchased items off registry” email. After some confusion and digging they informed me that it was just “reserved” by the customer and not actually purchased. I asked if they could just check what address they were being sent to to make sure it was coming to the right place.Ĭustomer service ended up telling me the items aren’t showing on their end as purchased at all. It said purchased and listed her name and the date it was bought, August 4th.īeing new to the Amazon registry system, I wanted to see how to track it so I reached out to customer service and they said there is no way to track it and that I would have to ask the person that purchased it for tracking. Much to my surprise I received an email saying that someone purchased two items from my registry already! I checked and it was one of my MIL’s friends who I don’t personally know. I shared it with my mom and partners mother (I’ll call her MIL to keep it simple even though I’m unmarried). Hi all! FTM 18 weeks and I already have my registry set up through Amazon. ![]() Now I’m wondering why on earth they told me all this other crazy stuff?! UPDATE: Amazon is clueless! The friend had the gifts sent to my MIL’s house for her to wrap and bring to shower.
